The Team

Sarah Clarke: Senior news editor; Tel: 01634 227837; Email address: sclarke@thekmgroup.co.uk; Responsibilities: Overseeing the Medway newsdesk, running the Medway reporting team, content of the Friday and Monday Medway Messengers.; I have been a journalist for 26 years. After working on newspapers on the south coast I came to Medway as a reporter for the former Evening Post/Medway Today and have since held a number of roles on the newdesk.
Sarah Hills: Assistant News Editor; Tel: 01634 227836; Email address: shills@thekmgroup.co.uk; Responsibilities: I am part of a team of four on the newsdesk, responsible for putting together the content for the pages for the two Medway Messenger titles, Medway Extra and I also edit the Sittingbourne editon of the Kent Messenger and the free title, Sittingbourne Extra.; I’ve worked at the Kent Messenger Group in the Medway newsroom since 2000 when I left college and started on the daily paper, Medway Today as a trainee reporter. I was later promoted to senior reporter and then later to the newsdesk as assistant news editor.
